Postal Museum

The Postal Museum was opened in 1996 and was first located at Khreshchatyk in the Main Post Office, now it is located in the post office No. 2 (the very large post office on the left bank of Kyiv). Through postal rarities, here you can learn the history of changes in postal services, its attributes and the organization of work in this service sector. The museum’s exhibits include telegraph logs of the 19th century, postal forms of officials, typewriters, writing instruments, stamps, uniform buttons, mailboxes and postmen’s bags, postal souvenirs from other countries, medals, stamps. There are also unique items here, such as a bag for sending insurance postal parcels. In addition, there are many photographs and postal transport. Those who like to collect stamps will greatly enjoy the collection of antique stamps.
