The history of the park, whose area is 3 hectares, began in 1967, when the Zheleznyakov monitor was installed on a small green island of the Rybalsky Peninsula /a> and a memorial sign to the crew of this ship. The park grows exclusively deciduous trees (maple, linden, poplar and others). As of 2018, access to the park is still difficult due to the closure of the Fisherman’s Cable-stayed Bridge and is only possible through the new Havana Bridge and Electricians Street.
