Trypillian Culture Park

This is a joint project of MAUP, the Lviv Academy of Arts and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, created in 2003. Here the Trypillian totem “turbyk-on-wheels”, models of dwellings, a model of a temple, female figurines of Trypillian people (in increased proportions), a ritual vessel “binoculars” and samples of hand-drawn ceramics are recreated here. The central place is occupied by the Great Mother of All That Is. The sculptures are made in enlarged form, maintaining the exact proportions of the original figures. The original size of the figures does not exceed 30 centimeters (perhaps these were ancient toys). Also in the park you can see the sculptural ensembles “Ancient Greek Park”, “Alley of Spirituality”, “Alley of Social Thinkers”, “Steps of Ukrainian Culture”, “Alley of Muses”, “MAUP Chapels”, “Garden of Ukraine” and “7 Wonders of the World” “. The sculptural ensemble “7 Wonders of the World” consists of: the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the statue of Olympian Zeus, the Colossus of Rhodes, the mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Pyramids of Giza, the Pharos Lighthouse, the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus. The sculptures are made of concrete.
